At Pacific West, we stock timing belts in metric pitch and Megadyne belts in pitches 2.5mm, 5.0mm and 10.0mm, as well as open ended rubber and polyurethane timing belts are now available from our premises at Wetherill Park (Western Sydney).
Function/Applications
Timing belts are used on a number of machines especially in the food processing area, as well as general applications in the power transmission fields. Open-ended timing belts are used in automatic doors and car washes where continuous reciprocation is required.
Differentiating Features
Timing belts are used where traditional Vee belts don’t transmit enough power to the driven shaft. The Megadyne and Megarubber timing belts compliment the range of Vee belts, Syncro-cog timing belts in imperial pitches of XL, L, H and XH.
